My award winning undyed collection embodies the most natural features of my flock. Not only does it beautifully showcase the contrasting colours their wonderful fleeces produce, but it allows for minimal processing, ensuring no harm to the environment. My husband and I farm in a way that helps to restore soil health and protect and enhance the natural environment. This is called regenerative agriculture and is a way of farming the land to help improve and regenerate the natural world around us. It is one of the founding principles of the Fibreshed movement - a worldwide revolution designed to revive low carbon regional textile production using only natural fibres that have been grown regeneratively and processed naturally. It is revitalising local, community positive textile production and I’m an active member of the South West England Fibreshed.
